XX Mallorca’s Classic Car Rally: Seb Perez wins again

With more than 500 km. of which 170 km of closed road stages, the Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca is an exciting event combining competitiveness with a thrilling spectacle for a widespread fan base.

The adrenaline-filled race has been growing in popularity since its inception in 2005. This year event commemorated two decades of motoring history on the island of Mallorca, and Seb Perez and Gary McElhinney made history by becoming the first team to win the Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca for the fourth time.

The British team won the champion’s cup in the Pre 81 Speed category after holding the lead from the first leg of the competition with their 1976 Lancia Stratos.

Struwe Biblioni — Stefan Struwe and Alexandra Bibiloni

Stefan Struwe and Alexandra Bibiloni have been proclaimed champions in the Pre90 Speed category of the Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca. The German team won the winner’s cup with their 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale EVO2.

David García and Rudy Hensen won with their 1995 Renault Clio Maxi the Rally Clásico Isla de Mallorca in the category of Speed Pre98.

With fierce competition, breathtaking scenery and a vibrant atmosphere, Mallorca’s Classic Car Rally has become one of the sporting events of reference within the European motor rally circuit, positioning the island as a must-see destination for classic motoring enthusiasts.
