Christmas markets are a cherished tradition in Mallorca. Every year, from November to January, the island becomes home to various winter fairs, stacked with stalls selling unique pressies and crafts from small businesses and independent designers that you’d never find in the large stores.
From Puerto Portals and Palma’s Plaza Mayor to Port Adriano’s unique ice-themed park, Mallorca’s Christmas markets offer diverse attractions and a great festive atmosphere, promising excitement and fun for everyone.
Puerto Portals Christmas Market
December 13 to January 6
The Christmas Market in Puerto Portals is set to open in December. With a broad activity schedule, including a skating rink and over forty charming wooden stalls illuminated by festive lights and adorned with fir trees, the market captures the true essence of Christmas. Visitors will find various high-quality products, including clothes, accessories, fashion jewelry, decorations, wooden toys, and unique gifts. There will also be a delicious selection of food offerings, including a food truck specializing in delicious burgers, a coffee car offering the most exceptional coffee on the island, and a candy truck with the sweetest and healthiest handmade candies.
Opening times and the activity schedule will be announced (TBA); entrance is free.
Christmas Market at Pueblo Español, Palma
November 28 to December 22, 2024. Opening Hours: Thursday to Sunday, 12:00 PM–11:00 PM
The Christmas Market at Pueblo Español in Mallorca is a festive highlight that transforms the venue into a winter wonderland with dazzling lights, live shows, DJs, and artificial snow falling on the hour in the evening. The market features over 100 artisan stalls and unique handcrafted gifts such as ceramics, textiles, and jewellery. Visitors can savor international and traditional treats like paella, churros, and mulled wine while enjoying live music, carol singing, and dance performances. Each ticket includes a complimentary Glühwein or hot chocolate. Admission is €10 for adults; children up to 12 years enter free.
Porto Adriano Christmas Park
December 17 to January 19
From December 17 until January 19, from noon h to 8 p.m., Christmas Park will be back in the central square of Porto Adriano. Here, you can skate on the 30-metre-long by 10-metre-wide rink. Made from recycled materials, the rink does not need electricity or water. And if skating is not your thing, you can opt for a giant slide, 3 meters high and 30 meters long. On the three lanes of this attraction, the young and not-so-young will have a great time. As always, these activities are free of charge and form part of the Port’s plan to offer leisure activities all year round.The park will also have two food and drink stalls with a seating area.
This park can be enjoyed until January 9 from noon h to 8 p.m., except on the 24th and 31st of January, when it will close at 4 p.m.
Son Amar Christmas Market
Saturday, November 30 to Sunday, December 22 (Weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas Wonderland at House of Son Amar, where a special live Christmas show awaits you. This festive experience features 25 beautifully decorated stalls, an ice-skating rink, Christmas shows, and a free cinema. Children can enjoy Santa’s grotto, complete with photo opportunities. It’s a holiday experience you won’t want to miss! The market operates from 3 PM to 9 PM at Carretera de Palma-Soller KM 10.8, Palmanyola. Admission is €5.
Santanyí Christmas Market
November 26 to January 9
The Santanyí Christmas Market, located on Manuel de Falla Street in Mallorca, will be open from November 26 to January 9. It operates daily from Monday to Sunday until 11 p.m. This market is one of the most traditional Christmas markets on the island, offering a wide range of events and activities that families can enjoy together.Don’t miss out on this wonderful holiday experience! You can savor the island’s wines, enjoy live music from various genres and bands, and soak in the festive atmosphere. It’s an excellent place to shop for Christmas decorations for both your tree and your home, as well as delightful Christmas wreaths.
Parc de Nadal Galatzó Sports Centre

The Parc de Nadal, held at the Galatzó Sports Centre from December 27 to 30, offers children’s games, attractions, craft workshops, and musical shows. Admission is €2 per person or €6 per family. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Duchenne Association in the Balearic Islands, supporting research to improve the lives of those affected by Duchenne, including three-year-old Lleó Páez from Son Ferrer. Opening hours are from 4 PM to 8 PM on December 27, 10 am to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 8 pm on December 28, 29, and 30.
Santa Ponsa German Christmas Market
November 22 to December 15
Experience the German Christmas Market in Santa Ponça, featuring an impressive Lego exhibition, handcrafted goods, culinary delights, and live music. On December 6, children can enjoy carousels and a special visit from St. Nicholas. Popular flea markets run alongside the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.
