Must-see Places In Mallorca: Sa Calobra
Kim Basinger spent nine and a half weeks with Mickey Rourke; 400 were François Truffaut’s famous blows; 500 the days Joseph Gordon Levitt waited for his beloved Summer; it’s clear, they all try but none quite make it. There is nothing like those 800 hairpin bends which must be negotiated in order to reach Sa Calobra’s paradise.
On each one, from the first to the last, you will be thinking that you are nearly there. That colour, that scent, that feeling, and just when you think you can almost smell the salty air you come to the Nudo de Corbata (Tie Knot), a 360 degree curve which will (almost) make you faint. There, when you feel like giving up, the Serra de Tramuntana splits in two, and makes way for water to flow through from its depths before finally meeting the sea.

The “Torrent de Pareis” has needed thousands of years to form the narrow gorge which ends in the Mediterranean. The endemic flora and fauna at Sa Calobra have earned the distinction of “Natural Monument”, given by the Balearic government.
Sand, gravel, pebbles, the transparent turquoise sea, the shadow of the Tramuntana and the charm of Escorca; all of these ingredients combine to make Sa Calobra feel like paradise. To make you feel you have found it in Mallorca.

Mark Twain once said that, for Adam, paradise was wherever Eve was. And, naturally, we can think of no better place to eat an apple.
Visiting the virgin coves of the island’s north by sailboat makes it very special. All this against the backdrop of the unspoiled and rugged coastline of the North of Mallorca. Swimming in crystal clear waters, snorkeling among fish, and the unique opportunity to paddle surf in dreamy places is a brief summary of what the day will be like, promising an exciting and adventurous experience.
During the navigation between the port, you have the freedom to choose your preferred mode of travel-sail by motor or, if the weather conditions allow it, sail. This choice empowers you to shape your own unique sailing experience.
